Cascade Iowa ParksThe City of Cascade has three community parks – the Community Park, 500 Johnson Street SW; the Riverview Park, 101 Pierce Street SW; and the Swimming Pool Park, 408 2nd Avenue NW. Community ParkThe Community Park is the largest park at just over 8 acres. It offers a large playground area with lots of playground equipment, a baseball/softball diamond, concession stand, two tennis courts, a basketball court, two sand volleyball courts, several reservable pavilions, restrooms, and large parking lot. The park is busy all season long with ball tournaments, family reunions, day camps, community events, and citizens playing tennis, volleyball, and basketball. ![]() Community Park Playground ![]() Community Park Basketball Court Cascade Swimming Pool ParkThe Swimming Pool Park contains the Cascade Municipal Swimming Pool. Built in 1967, the pool continues to provide great summer fun for Cascade youths. The pool offers a concession stand, a small water slide, diving boards, water basketball, public and private swim lessons, adults swims, and from time-to-time water aerobics. The park also has a small playground area with playground equipment. The pool is home to the Cascade Swim Team and each summer the Swim Team host several swim meets with neighboring communities. ![]() Cascade Municipal Swimming Pool ![]() Cascade Swimming Pool Park River View ParkThe Riverview Park offers a great view and access to the North Fork Maquoketa River and the river falls. The park is a little over an acre in size, but hosts many community events like the Farmers Market, Car Cruise, Music in the Park, Duck Regatta, and 4th of July Street Dance to name a few. The park has a landing to the river where kayakers, fishers, and splashers can take to the water.
