Cascade Elementary School

Grade Levels Served: Pre-Kindergarten - 6th Grade

Enrollment (approximate): 325 Students

Cascade Elementary School is a Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade building serving approximately 325 students. The building consists of 17 regular education classrooms, three special education classrooms, a media center, art room, music room, a gymnasium, a Title I classroom, an ELL classroom, and guidance office. It is one of five elementary schools in Western Dubuque Community School District.

Cascade is a small community of approximately 2,200 residents. The student population at Cascade Elementary is made up of children from Cascade and the surrounding rural area including Temple Hill, Fillmore and Bernard.

Cascade Elementary was constructed in 1963 with additions made in 1993, 2002, 2009 and 2017 to create its existing capacity. The building is located on old Highway 151, three blocks east of downtown Cascade.
