City of Cascade Garbage & Recycling
The City of Cascade provides citizens and businesses with curbside garbage and recycling collection.
Garbage and recycling is collected Tuesdays on the Westside of town and Thursdays on the east side of town. Recycling is every other week.
There are no limits on the volume of recycling. Residential collection is limited to one 33-gallon (blue garbage cart) per household per week. Extra garbage requires a $2.00 bag tag available at City Hall, the grocery store, and convenience stores. Each household may dispose of one large (non appliance) item per month by calling City Hall by 3pm on the day prior to your regular garbage pick up.
Recycling and garbage must be curbside by 7:00AM or it will not be picked up.
Please see below for the 2022 & 2023 Recycle/Garbage Calendar.
Cascade Garbage & Recycling Rates
The City holds a Spring and Fall clean-up event where residents are able to dispose of large items and extra refuse not taken with normal garbage collection. Typical items are stoves, refrigerators, air conditioners, microwaves, washers, dryers, beds, and old furniture.
All appliances and metal collected are recycled.
For 2023, the spring clean up date is Saturday, May 13th & the fall clean up date is Saturday, October 21st.
Yard Waste Site:
The City of Cascade maintains a yard waste disposal site where residents can dispose of grass clippings, leaves, garden vegetation, branches, and brush. The site is open 24-7 April through October for residents’ convenience.
